Hi.  I'm Ryan Jackson.

I've been a software engineer for over 26 years.

It was a disturbing and sickening feeling, to have so many years of experience, when circumstances forced me to conlude that -- 

I was - irrelevant!  

Or at least, my skill-set seemed irrelevant.

AI has changed the entire technical landscape.  As a result, the business world is changing along with it. 

As I considered options, the foremost question that kept coming to mind was, "If I'm feeling irrelevant, how many others are feeling the same way?"

It was almost 30 years ago, while doing business consulting, when I realize I needed to understand technology, (at an expert level), if I was going to succeed in business.  So I walked over that bridge into the technology world.  I just happened to really enjoy the creative, designing, and architecting of software; so I stayed.

The path seems to have circled back, but connects with new bridge.  I now wonder, "How can I help businesses succeed, (ie.stay relevant), particularly with their technology?"

Businesses evolve, but technology often doesn't.

Processes that once worked become bottlenecks. Spreadsheets become systems. Manual workarounds become permanent workflows. Over time, technology can drift further and further from the needs of the business.

Relevant Innovations, llc. was created to help organizations bring technology back into alignment with their operations through modernization, integration, automation, and practical software solutions.

My goal is simple: help businesses stay relevant by ensuring their technology remains relevant, too.
